Grimwald Patch 2 Devlog
Greetings everyone!
Grimwald Patch 2 is here and compared to the first one this is a big one. Be prepared to explore new places of the land of Grimwald and meet a bunch of new characters and enemies along the road!
If you played the previous patch your save game should still be there but with the skill tree changes they won't work as intended anymore, you will have to make a new character!
Has the number of changes in this update is quite big I'll review the main changes:
Hairs :
As promised in the planned features hairs have been added to the game, you will now be able to chose between two hair cuts or keep the character bald as before! Of course you will also be able to choose your character hair color and if you don't find any style that suit you don't worry more hair cuts will probably be added in future updates so stay tuned!
New Skill trees and skills :
The skill trees have been totally reworked and each fighting skill tree now have 6 options to upgrade with your points, among those options some will unlock new active skills(as before but a lot of new skills have been added) while other will increase your stats!
New locations :
Rumor is that there is movement under the old Slaas church in the forest you will probably have to investigate it at some point... You might also discover a whole new part of Welbert castle if you manage to earn the inhabitant trust!
Mysterious pillars :
Mysterious pillars have made their appearance everywhere in Grimwald, it is said that you will appear next to the las one you interacted with if you leave Grimwald or meet an unfortunate fate.
Other changes :
- Players will now be able to compare currently equipped equipment with other equipments by hovering a button in the inventory.
- A new item has been added : Bandages, using them remove one bleeding stack from the user.
- If a consumable is used from a quickslot it will have a 5 seconds cooldown before being able to use it again. There is no cooldown for items used from the inventory menu.
- Stamina now regen even if the player is attacking but 3 times slower than normal, also dodging now cost 30 stamina instead of 25 before.
- Players inventory now has a max capacity, only consumables and equipments are counted toward this max capacity, if a player carry more than what he can carry they'll get a 50% movement speed debuff.
- Players now loose 10% of their gold coins when they die.
